Connecting AI
This page introduces how to connect Antpocket to AI services such as Claude and ChatGPT.
Once connected, you can ask about your stock in plain language and even hand inbound and outbound work over to the AI.
What is AI integration?
Antpocket supports the open standard that AI services use to connect to outside data (MCP, Model Context Protocol).
You don't need to remember that name. Throughout this guide we simply call it a connection.
All you need to connect is a single address.

Register this address in your AI service, sign in to Antpocket and allow the request, and that AI can read and write your space's data.
There is nothing to install and no complicated configuration values to type in.
When you connect, you choose which space to connect to. A connection only ever works with that one space.
If you have several spaces, create a separate connection for each one.
What you can do with AI
Ask about stock and records
Stock levels by warehouse, product search, warehouse and trading partner lists, action history, low stock alerts, and inventory slips.
Example: "Which products at Mandeok warehouse have fewer than 10 left?"
Register and edit products
Register products one at a time, or hand over a spreadsheet to register many at once. Product name, code, unit price and properties can all be edited.
Example: "Register the products in this Excel file."
Request inbound, outbound, transfer and adjustment
All four action types can be requested. Each request becomes an inventory slip waiting for approval.
Example: "Release 5 units of Desk01 from Gupo warehouse."
Work with inventory slips
Put several actions into one slip, append to an existing slip, remove an action you added by mistake, change the name, memo or process time, submit, or delete.
Example: "Add 3 units of Chair02 as outbound to the slip you just made."
Approve or reject inventory slips
Only available if you allowed the Action approval permission. With it, the AI can approve a slip and stock changes immediately.
Example: "Show me slip 12 and approve it if it looks right."
The AI does not change stock directly
This is the most important point.
When you ask the AI for an inbound, outbound, transfer or adjustment, it only goes as far as creating an inventory slip and submitting it as Pending Review.
The actual quantity in the warehouse does not change at that moment. A person has to open the slip in Antpocket on the web and approve it before stock is updated.
The AI's reply includes a link straight to the slip. Follow it, check the contents, and then approve.

If you allow Action approval on a connection, the AI can approve slips and therefore change stock right away.
We recommend starting without this permission and adding it only once you need it. See Permissions and Managing Connections for details.
What is not possible yet
If something doesn't work as expected, it is often a missing feature rather than a mistake by the AI.
- Statistics and the dashboard cannot be queried. For purchases, sales and monthly trends, use the statistics screens on the web.
- Approvals cannot be undone. If you approve something by mistake, use Action history > Go back in time on the web.
- Initial stock cannot be set while registering a product. Register the product first, then add quantity with an inbound action.
- The product, warehouse or quantity of an action already in a slip cannot be edited. Remove that action and add it again. Name, memo and process time can be edited.
- Low stock alerts only show your own settings. Alerts configured by other members are not visible.
What you need to get started
- An Antpocket account and a space to work with (one you own or joined as a member)
- An account with the AI service you want to use — Claude or ChatGPT
- A web browser
Connections work on the free (Basic) plan too. There is no extra fee and nothing to apply for.
Your plan's data limits still apply, though. Registering products in bulk with AI will hit those limits first.
