Connecting to Claude

This page walks through connecting Antpocket to claude.ai.
There is no API key to issue and nothing to install. Enter the address, sign in, allow the request, and you're done.

Before you start

• You need a claude.ai account. Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise all work.
• The Free plan allows only one connection of this kind. (This is a claude.ai limit and has nothing to do with your Antpocket plan.)
• On Team or Enterprise, an organization owner has to register it first. See Connecting on Team and Enterprise further down this page.
• Use a web browser.

Connecting on an individual plan

1. Sign in to claude.ai and go to Customize > Connectors in settings.

2. Click + and choose Add custom connector.

3. Paste the address below into the connector URL field.

4. Click Add. The Antpocket sign-in and approval screen opens in a new window.

5. Choose your space and permissions as described in the next section, then allow.

The address is all you need

You can leave the OAuth Client ID and Client Secret under Advanced settings empty.

The approval screen

This screen is served by Antpocket. It is where you decide which space to connect and what to allow.

If you are not signed in to Antpocket, you'll first see "Sign in to approve this connection." along with Sign in and Sign up buttons. After signing in you return to this screen.

Once signed in, the screen is titled Connection request and shows which app is asking to connect.

1. Choose the Space to connect. If you have several spaces, double-check this — the connection only works with the space you pick here.
2. Review Permissions to allow.
3. Click Allow to finish and return to claude.ai. Click Deny if you don't want to connect.

Permissions are all switched on once you pick a space

Every permission you're able to grant is checked by default. Turn off anything you don't need.

Check the Action approval permission

If you leave Action approval checked, the AI can approve inventory slips and change stock right away.
With it turned off, the AI only submits slips and a person has to approve before stock is updated.

At the bottom of the screen you'll see: "If you allow this, the app can read and write this space's data within the permissions you select."

Checking that it worked

If Antpocket appears as connected in your claude.ai connector list, you're done.

Try asking in a conversation:

• "List the warehouses and trading partners in Antpocket."
• "Which five products have the lowest stock?"

When you ask for something that changes data, such as an inbound or outbound, Claude asks you to confirm before running it. Read it and proceed.

Connecting on Team and Enterprise

There are two steps here.

Step 1 — an organization owner registers it.

1. Go to Organization settings > Connectors.
2. Click Add, hover over Custom and choose Web.
3. Enter https://antpocket.io/mcp and click Add.

Step 2 — each member connects.

1. In Customize > Connectors, find Antpocket in the list.
2. Click Connect and go through the approval screen above.

Every member connects for themselves

What the organization owner does is make the connection available.
Each member then allows it with their own Antpocket account, and it works only within the permissions that member holds.

If it doesn't connect

• Signed in with a different Antpocket account — check the account shown on the approval screen. Sign out of Antpocket in your browser and try again.
• Picked the wrong space — a connection's space cannot be changed. Delete the connector in claude.ai and connect again.
• The Free plan won't let you add it — the Free plan allows only one connection of this kind. Delete the existing one and retry.
• Double-check the address — it is https://antpocket.io/mcp. Don't append anything after it.
