Low Stock Alerts

Get alerted when a product's stock in a warehouse falls to or below a threshold you set, so you can restock before it runs out.

Alerts go only to the person who set them up

Low stock alerts are sent only to the person who set them up and aren't shared across the space. Each member who wants alerts must set them up themselves. The number of alerts you can register depends on your plan.

1. When will I be alerted?​

  • Set a threshold for each warehouse × product. You're alerted once at the moment stock falls to or below the threshold.
  • If stock keeps dropping while already at or below the threshold, you aren't alerted again. Once stock goes back above the threshold and then falls again, you're alerted again.
  • If stock is already at or below the threshold when you register an alert or change its threshold, no alert is sent right away; the list shows it as Low stock.
  • Alerts arrive as in-app notifications; email and other channels follow your account's notification settings.

2. Adding alerts​

For the same warehouse and threshold, you can add several products at once.

  1. Click Add low stock alert.
  2. Choose a warehouse.
  3. Click the product field to open the product picker.
    • Search and check the products you want. Your picks are kept when you change the search. (Up to 100 at a time)
    • Click Select N at the bottom; the products appear as chips. Remove one with its ×, or click the product field again to change the selection.
  4. Enter the threshold (a whole number of 0 or more).
  5. Click Add (or Add N for several).

Products that already have an alert for that warehouse are skipped. You'll see a result such as "Added N. Skipped M that already exist or couldn't be found."

3. The alert list​

ManageManage Inventory: opens the Inventory Management screen with that warehouse selected, so you can receive stock right away. Delete: deletes the alert.
  • The list is sorted Low stock → Normal.
  • A N low stock summary appears above the table; turn on Low stock only to see only those.

4. Changing the threshold / deleting​

  • Change the threshold: pencil icon next to the threshold → enter a new value → Save.
  • Change the warehouse or product: not possible. Delete the alert and add it again.

5. Elsewhere in the app​

  • In Inventory Management, Product Stock highlights quantities at or below your thresholds in red with a warning icon.
